At the hospitals the nurse can choose to work at different departments:

- out-patient clinics
- operating theatres
- anaesthesiology departments
- emergency departments
- intensive care units
- pediatric departments
- psychiatric departments
- clinical counsellor at a hospital
Outside the hospitals the nurse can choose to work in:
- primary health care
- nursing homes
- local psychiatric teams
- as a home visiting nurse
- the health and safety organisation
- general practice
- at prison authorities
- the military
- international aid organisations
- pharmaceutical companies
- educational institutions
As a nurse you have great opportunities to choose a job that suits your own interests.
