If you have a degree in nursing from abroad you need a Danish authorisation to work as a nurse in Denmark.

Applications concerning authorisation must be send to:

The application must be in writing. Application form can be obtained at the Danish National Board of Health by telephone +45 7222 7400 or by e-mail: sst@sst.dk.

You must include original or confirmed copies as documentation with your application (originals are returned after use). Confirmation can be obtained at embassies or at public authorities. Private persons cannot confirm authenticity.
