Throughout the years I have worked in the health services. I have completed the health and social assistance education and trained in nursing in the military.

I found it natural to continue with the nursing programme when I had the chance! Another reason for choosing the nursing programme was that I have more job and development opportunities!

The nursing education has been exciting and developing for me both professionally and personally. The best thing about the nursing programme has been the considerable development and expansion of professional comptences which I had due to my previos jobs.

In my opinion there should be more clinical training and I think it is a big problem for newly educated nurses. I think you can have many problems as a newly educated nurse when you do not have much clinical experience and e.g. is on a night shift without help from experienced nurses!

In the future I wish to have experience from an ordinary hospital department and later specialise in either anaesthesiology or treatment.
